Protocols

  1. Use of Polaris radiofrequency laser developed for non-ablative facial rejuvenation with genomic characterization.  In this protocol a select group of patients will be studied who qualify for a Polaris non-surgical facelift.  The procedures are a standard 3 – 5 treatments of the face and neck. Patients will have a biopsy to assess gene function before and after the procedure.

  2.  Analysis of efficacy of Platelet Rich Plasma on wound healing

  3. Effect of BDNF (nerve growth factor) on facial nerve regeneration

  4. Scanpath assessment of facial surgery outcomes

  5. Effect of the perioperative use of COX-2 inhibitors in reducing postoperative pain after rhinoplasty
