Protocols
- Use of Polaris radiofrequency laser developed for non-ablative facial rejuvenation with genomic characterization. In this protocol a select group of patients will be studied who qualify for a Polaris non-surgical facelift. The procedures are a standard 3 – 5 treatments of the face and neck. Patients will have a biopsy to assess gene function before and after the procedure.
- Analysis of efficacy of Platelet Rich Plasma on wound healing
- Effect of BDNF (nerve growth factor) on facial nerve regeneration
- Scanpath assessment of facial surgery outcomes
- Effect of the perioperative use of COX-2 inhibitors in reducing postoperative pain after rhinoplasty
- Tissue engineering employing septal chondrocytes
